Here's how Sonali Bendre celebrated Gudi Padwa

Zee TV recently launched its reality show DID L'il Masters Season 5, with actress Sonali Bendre on the judges panel. Contestant Sagar Varpe had recently confessed that he has an unfulfilled wish of celebrating Gudi Padwa in a grand manner, so the actress organised an extravagant celebration of the festival on the sets. Sonali also gifted him new clothes and a couple of special gifts before they celebrated the Maharashtrian New Year together. 
  
As Sonali Bendre mentioned, "Festivals are key occasions to be spent with your family. Gudi Padwa is such a special occasion for all the Maharashtrians and so I knew it would be a lonely time for Sagar, I just wanted him to be able to celebrate the festival. While I cannot replace the joy of being with his family, I just wanted him to know he was not alone and be able to give him some good memories for Gudi Padwa this year."
  
Sagar also added, "Sonali Ma'am has been a mother figure to me here, and this was the very first time I celebrated Gudi Padwa in a grand manner with new clothes, gifts, and everything. I am really grateful to her for everything, and I will surely make her proud."
