Mid-day.com introduces ‘Celeb Rewind’ a space where your favourite actors recall the things they miss most from their growing up years.

Joining us today is actress Sunayana Fozdar aka Anjali Mehta from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recalling memories from the 80s’ and 90s’

Sunayana Fozdar : One thing that I miss from the 80s’ and 90s’ is there were so many more outdoor activities. We weren’t glued to Facebook and Instagram. Yes, there was Orkut but we hardly spent much time on it. As soon as school was over, we would long to meet our friends and play games in the outdoors. I miss my badminton sessions with friends,  that was our leisure time. I used to enjoy colouring and painting, it’s something I miss now because I’ve always enjoyed sketching.

We used to have landline phones then and the memories of sitting besides the phone,  just waiting while expecting a call from a friend are priceless.  At times, we would give each other missed calls even from the landline and we had codes like if it’s one ring it’s 'friend A' and two rings means 'friend B.' We had this weird planning. These small little joys of life are what I miss the most.
