Leenesh Mattoo, known for the television show Ishqbaaaz, has gone back to his roots. He joins the cast of Pashminna—Dhaage Mohabbat Ke, a love story set in Kashmir, as it takes a one-year leap. “I was born and brought up in Kashmir, so revisiting the place after nine years made it special,” says Leenesh. Sharing that he related to the subject and his character, the actor adds, “I didn’t have to prepare a lot. I felt an instant connection with my character and the show, and also got a chance to revisit my roots.”  Talking about shooting in the cold climes over the last two months, he says, “The amount of hard work that goes into shooting in the conditions of Kashmir, while maintaining the authenticity of the culture, language, and the extensive research, sets this show apart from others.”
