For India’s breakout star Arjun Kanungo, the stars aligned when he stumbled into music after being discovered by Asha Bhosle. The rest is history as the rising indie-pop star steadily staked his claim as one of the most promising voices in the Indian music industry. Be it his covers of Bollywood classics or his smash hit party tracks, Arjun has mastered the art of infusing future sound into the cult genre of pop. The fan favourite crooner is all set to display Future Pop front and centre on this Friday’s episode of Unacademy Unwind with MTV.
The series of electric performances kick off with a medley of iconic Bollywood tracks, including Chura Liya Hai Tumnein, Tu Tu Hai Wahi Dil Nein Jise by Asha Bhosle and Hum Bewafa by Kishore Kumar. Using his signature style of immersing electronic beats with harmonious melodies, he revamps the classics with renewed vigour.
