Actress Akanksha Puri who took a jump from serial Vighnaharta Ganesha to bring a part of music videos, will now be seen in an upcoming web series ‘Kashmir - An enigma of paradise’ opposite Rajniesh Duggal.

The web series is about a family of 4 generations, a journey of 100 years put forth together. The series is inspired by real characters and events that took place in Kashmir. Akanksha will be seen playing the role of a Kashmiri girl, the name of her character will be Parmeshwari. Speaking of which Akanksha said, “My character is inspired by real character and I have really worked hard on my language n accent to reflect “ kashmiryat “ in my character!! As it’s inspired by real characters n real events , I want to give my 100% and do justice to my role.”
She further stated, “My character in this is inspired by real life character, it’s a very strong character and I love different shades and variation of it. I am very happy to be back in Kashmir for another shoot as Kashmir has always been lucky for me . I have a special emotional connect to this place and I feel truly blessed to get “ Parmeshwari” which is my character name in this series.
Right now I am shooting in Srinagar and I am busy romancing my costar “Rajniesh Duggal “ in this beautiful city of love.”
Kashmir - An enigma of paradise consists 4 seasons with each season consisting 10 episodes. It has Akanksha Puri and Rajniesh Duggal as leads, directed by Atul Agarwal and produced under One Media Movie Entertainment. The shooting for the same has already begun in Kashmir and the series is slated to release next year.
