The hard-hitting trailer of the Original crime series, Poacher was unveiled today. Created, written, and directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Richie Mehta, the upcoming series features Nimisha Sajayan, Roshan Mathew, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in pivotal roles. Actor, producer and entrepreneur Alia Bhatt is the Executive Producer of the series. 

Alia Bhatt, at the Poacher trailer launch, narrated how she got roped in for the project. "Richie and I met back in 2022, I was full-blown pregnant, just about to pop. We spoke about everything under the sun - parenting, cinema, movies, art. In that meeting, he took me through the world of Poacher. I was flabbergasted that it was all based on true events. He shared the first two episodes. Forget executive producer, I just responded as a person. I couldn`t stop watching the show, it`s a binge and how! You can`t take your eyes off the screen. You can`t take yourself away from these characters. The whole cast holds your attention. It just really moved me emotionally," she said.
