Director Navjot Gulati's maiden web show, Happily Ever After, depicts how planning one's wedding is not all fun and games.

Happily Ever After
The perfect culmination to one's love story, the big wedding day is all sunshine and roses. Or at least, that's what Bollywood movies and Indian television shows would have you believe. But, with his maiden digital outing Happily Ever After, director Navjot Gulati showcases how the lead-up to the wedding day can be as exacting as it can be exciting. The show revolves around a couple, portrayed by Naveen Kasturia and Harshita Gaur, who plan a destination wedding and resolve against seeking monetary help from their parents. "[As they begin planning their wedding], they face a lot of obstacles — be it due to their finances or family's [disapproval]," says Gulati, adding that the February 1 release will be narrated across two timelines. "The other [timeline] delves into their relationship, and traces how they eventually decide to get married."
