Amazon Prime Video hosted a memorable event this week titled 'Sahas Ko Salam', that honoured the frontline workers and their selfless sacrifice towards the nation.  Amazon Prime Video launched the trailer of their upcoming original - Mumbai Diaries 26/11 during the event in the presence of the entire cast and crew of Mumbai Diaries 26/11. 'Sahas Ko Salam' proudly saluted the spirit of the frontline workers such as the doctors, nurses, ward-boys and every other person who keeps the heart of this city beating. 


The event was celebrated at the iconic monument, that is the symbol of the undying spirit of Mumbai and its people - The Gateway of India. The guest of honour for the event was Shri Aaditya Thackeray, Minister of Tourism, Environment and Protocol, Government of Maharashtra. Throughout the course of the memorable night, multiple discussions and panels were hosted with heroes from all walks of life.

Mumbai Diaries 26/11 is a fictional edge-of-the-seat medical drama that is set against the terrifying, unforgettable night that, on the one hand, ravaged the city, but on the other hand, also united its people and strengthened their resolve to stand against any adversity. Created by Nikkhil Advani, produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani of Emmay Entertainment, and jointly directed by Nikkhil Advani along with Nikhil Gonsalves, the series, depicts the untold story of doctors, nurses, paramedics and hospital staff who worked tirelessly to save lives during the terror attacks that devastated the city on November 26, 2008.

The series features an array of talented artists, including Konkona Sensharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Prakash Belawadi.
