Sajid Ali’s Laila Majnu, with impressive performances by leads Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Dimri, was one of the underrated films of 2018. Three years on, the director is set to take the plunge in digital entertainment with a comedy series. The makers are tight-lipped about the project that sees Sajid reunite with his filmmaker-brother Imtiaz Ali. It is heard that Imtiaz serves as the writer and creative producer on the show, which has been co-directed by Archit.
