Exclusive! Angira Dhar: I had tested for Bijli`s part

The cast of Homi Adajania`s `Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo` Angira Dhar, Isha Talwar, Udit Arora and Ashish Verma, recently got into conversation with mid-day.com. They told us all about the series and what they would do if approached for a regular saas-bahu show. The series has released on Disney+Hotstar and also features Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan among others. Besides the others, Angira who plays a pivotal part has been winning accolades for her role. The actress revealed that she had initially tested for Bijli`s part that was eventually played by Isha Talwar in the series by Homi Adajania.

<p>The actress added that she begged the makers to let her audition for Kajal`s role. "My audition went to Homi and they came back saying I could play Kajal. I was very happy about that. That`s how it happened for me."</p>
