At a starting price of Rs 60k, the company hopes to disrupt the premium TV segment in India with three new smart TVs

Chinese smartphone maker and content provider, LeEco on Thrusday announced its foray into television sets with the launch of three new 4K smart TV sets Super3 X55, Super3 X65, and Super3 Max65 that supports 3D display

All the three models feature all-metal body, 16GB internal storage, a USB 3.0 port and are powered by a quad-core Cortex A17 CPU. It also comes with support for the LeEco online content services like Levidi, LIVE, and LeView, available on its smartphones. The company is also offering a 2-year product warranty along with a standard panel warranty for 4 years.
The Ram however, varies among the TV sets, with Super3 X65 and Super3 Max65 getting 3GB RAM whereas the Super3 X55 comes with 2GB RAM. The top of the line product, the Super3 Max65 can also render 3D content. The other connectivity features include 3 HDMI ports with support for MHL 2.0, dual Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
The company has kept the pricing really competitive as well. “The 55-inch Super3 X55 available for R59,790, the 65-imch Super3 X65 for R99,790 and the top of the line, 65-imch Super3 Max65 for R149,790,” said Atul Jain, COO, LeEco India.
The TV sets will go on pre-sales from August 10 to 12 on its e-commerce platform, LeMall and Flipkart.
