I will be able to revisit the whole story. I have read all the books but they are all mixed up in my head.  I am excited, more so, because my son, Satya, has been a Potter fan only because of the movies, and hasn’t read the books. He reads a lot of Manga and Amar Chitra Katha; we would always have discussions on why there isn’t an illustrated version of a famous series like Harry Potter or Lord of The Rings.

I’d love to read it all over again. When you read a book, you imagine how the characters would be. I’m curious to see if the illustrations will be true to the descriptions in the book. I’m fond of all the characters, but particularly keen to to see how Hagrid looks. In the movies, Cedric and Krum didn’t turn out as I imagined.

I was happy when I heard the news. When it comes to the visual aspect of the characters, the movies made a fixed association for a lot of people and ingrained images in our head. So, when the illustrated version is released, I want to see how far away it moves from the film’s description of the characters. Also, the movies skimmed over a few topics; hope they are covered in the book.
