Science shouldn’t be confined within the limitations of textbooks, or to theories in a classroom. This is what Science Utsav, a new education programme hopes to achieve with their experiential science-based workshops for children.

Started by a group of professionals, the group has organised a Diwali special camp for children to offer them a clearer understanding of scientific concepts and phenomenas through fun-filled experiments and activities.

The camp is open to kids between 7 to 12 years, and will be held at four different locations across the city including Andheri (near Mahakali Caves), Borivali (W), Powai and Wadala.

The programme includes five classes where children will learn different concepts in physics by making working models of ball parachute, Newton’s boat, buzzer box, pop LED spinners, periscope, scorpion (mechanical model), magic bank, glider plane, and LED kaleidoscope.
