If you shutterbugs and Instagram addicts love sauntering around the city, then May is your chance to bring it in. This month, Conde Nast Traveller India is running an Instagram campaign titled #30DaysOfBallardEstate, and everyone is invited to join in. A crowd-sourced initiative, the project is an ode to one of the country's prettiest neighbourhoods.

Hardcore flaneurs will tell you of the wonders that Ballard Estate holds. Ballard Estate has a World War 1 memorial commissioned by the Bombay Port Trust in the early 20th century. Then, there's Hamilton Studios that helped launch Bollywood star Zeenat Aman's film career. It was the official photographer of the Bombay State and captured the city's elite in all their glory.

The area is also famous for its tree-laden, Edwardian, neo-classical, heritage buildings, many of which are pioneers of India's industrial development.

To go about this, follow @CNTravellerIndia on Instagram, tag them on your pictures of the area and use the hashtag #30DaysOfBallardEstate to be part of CNT's love letter to this century-old business district. You can also find interesting facts about the area on CNT's Instagram account.
