Your face may be telling more secrets about you than you imagine. A new workshop on this skill aims to reveal dark secrets about human nature by looking at one’s facial features

Ever wondered why Aamir Khan is perceived as an out-of-the-box thinker, and an intellectual person with good judgement? The secret might lie in his long earlobes. According to face reader Varun Rupani, who is conducting a workshop on face reading this weekend, a person’s face gives away more information than he/she may want to reveal. “Every part of a person’s face tells something; this varies depending on its shape and size,” says Rupani.

People with long earlobes like Aamir Khan are usually out-of-the-box thinkers, and perceived as intellectuals with good judgment sense.

For example people with joint eyebrows worry a lot, are often interfering, and are more likely to take everything personally. Likewise, people with large lips are believed to be courageous, friendly and at times, outspoken.

Rupani refers to his method of reading faces as an art, based on the ancient Vedic wisdom. “It’s not an exact science, but the knowledge helps you know humans better,” he says, adding, “It is connected to the psychology of a person and a way to predict the personality and behaviour. The accuracy level of the predictions is usually around 85%.”

When asked if there are certain faces, which are easier to read than others, Rupani replies, “There is nothing such as an easy or a difficult face; however, reading a face of an aged person is far easy as compared that of a teenager. But if you know the tricks, you can find every face easy.”

Rupani, who is also a graphologist, a palmist and a numerologist has been practising and teaching face reading for the last six years. He is secretive about the source from where he learnt this art, but expresses his gratitude to those who helped him acquire this knowledge. When asked about the practical use of face reading and the workshop, Rupani says, “It makes it easy to decide whether to trust someone or not. Participants can gauge a new and a hidden tool to help understand the personality and behavioural traits of those you interact with.”
