I have personally come across such cases where unemployed men and women were facing a life and death question. So, when the market has started to look up now, it sounded just right to open vacancies in our firm and the hiring process has already begun.” Through Facebook and other online mediums, the Kamal Associates scion is looking for new recruits to expand his business.
Kamal Associates is currently conducting interviews of prospective candidates, who will be hired by the company soon. While they are looking for candidates with a background in the property industry, but Pulkit says, “We are looking for other people as well because we are looking at this hiring process as an opportunity to help as many people as possible, even if they are not from the property background.”
As for Pulkit’s thought-process, regarding his team of employees, savour this example – There was an office boy working at Kamal Associates, whose main job was doing small errands around the office like serving tea or bringing lunch from outside. When Pulkit saw this guy showing acumen for property business, he hired him to work as a broker and today, he rides a Rs 2 lakh bike. Sharing this story with us with pride, Pulkit says that while hiring people for his firm, he looks at their skills and qualifications as well as the hunger to learn more.
Pulkit has a great fan following on social media, with his YouTube channel generating a good amount of clientele as well as market response. Working for Kamal Associates is a privilege, if you go by the public opinion about the company. Pulkit, who is just 28-year-old, shares this, “Our employees are very much satisfied with us because I ensure that their salaries and incentives are credited on time. Whether we receive our payments or not from the clients, we ensure that our employees don’t have to wait for their salaries at all.”
Despite being a young property developer himself, Pulkit says he has learnt a lot from his father as well as the employees in his company. This, he says, is possible due to a smart business tactic, of hiring experienced employees. He says, “Suppose I hire 10 people from the market, each having 10 years of individual experience in the property business. That would automatically mean that I’ve gained 100 years of cumulative experience. Isn’t it?”
That is smart, for sure.
What also has makes Kamal Associates popular among its clients and the property market is Pulkit’s vibrant presence on social media like Instagram. Currently, his main focus, however, remains on hiring people who are among the neediest in the world, in absence of a livelihood.
