We saw our dear country – India, humanity and the world suffering from the deadly attack of covid. Everything went down and business was at its lowest, the education sector took a big hit and even NIEM suffered financial losses. In spite of all this NIEM the Institute of Event Management – Asia’s best event institute, never gave up and strived to introduce new methods of learning, training and teaching and keep innovating. All this kept up the excitement with the brand new batch of students, who were more than supportive. The mood at NIEM was always up-beat, due to constant innovation and sheer hard-work we share some great news about us. Would you believe, four awards in this down period, only NIEM could do it.
NIEM received two awards as an institute – the Internal Education Summit Awards 2020 for being the best and distinguished international vocational institute and the International Education Awards 2020 for the best placements. Individually our director and Pune centre head, Dr. Karna Upadhyay received an honorary doctorate from Human Rights protection commission for work in the area and our dean and director Dr. Hoshi Bhiwandiwalla received the Lifetime Golden Achievement award.
