As people go to Bandra Fair this week, many will be visiting Mount Mary`s Basilica, the holy place that has been synonymous with the fest. Here`s your guide to other churches in Mumbai dedicated to the mother of Jesus Christ

<p><strong>Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Bandra </strong><br />Not too far away from Mount Mary`s Basilica is Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, popularly known as Mount Carmel Church, situated near Lilavati Hospital in Bandra. It was built in 1894 by the Jesuit Missionaries, and the new church was blessed by former Archbishop of Bombay, Simon Pimenta in 1981.</p>
<p>In fact, some of the Bandra Fair celebrations take place there every year with September Garden, a cultural event that showcases dances and more by the community</p>

Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Bandra
