While the actor is busy with her projects, she has carved time for her Charity Closet Sale.  Shruti Haasan has been basking in the glory of her success in her professional endeavours. From blockbuster films and chart-topping music, Hassan has hit the mark with all her projects and even as we transition to the year, her highly anticipated film, Salaar has opened to a thunderous response across the globe.

Amidst this busy schedule, Shruti Haasan is also focusing on the Charity Closet Sale which strives to bring the festive spirit into the lives of the less fortunate. She has picked out a huge collection of carefully selected clothes and accessories from her collection that fans across the world can purchase, with each item sold contributing to the welfare of children living with HIV/AIDS.

Haasan explains, "This tradition has grown very close to my heart. For me, it's a reminder that we can keep finding many ways to give back and share our celebrations with those in need. It's also a special way for me to connect with my fans, so we can come together to support something important, all while sharing a bit of each other's lives."

When purchasing preloved garments over newly manufactured, Hassan's pieces save over four lakh litres of water and 500 kgs of carbon. These statistics were calculated using the Dolce Vee Environmental Footprint Calculator, built in partnership with CERE.

Proceeds from the sale support Desire Society, founder, Ravi Babu G, says, "We are grateful to Shruti sharing the festive season with our beneficiaries – over 200 very special orphan children living with HIV. Thank you, Shruti, for setting an example of how to embody the spirit of giving."

The pieces will be on sale online through the social enterprise Dolce Vee, whose Founder Komal Hiranandani adds, "Fans have been eagerly awaiting this year's Season of Giving drop by Shruti. Her statement style makes for a wonderfully eclectic collection for fans to choose from, and it's been wonderful to see shoppers genuinely connecting with the cause while they shop."

With Salaar’s success going well into 2024 and a kitty full of big-ticket content-driven projects, Hassan is looking forward to an exciting new year.
