On International Beer Day, Mumbai-based mixologists share 3 beer cocktail recipes topped with indulgent flavours

It is the drink of gods, as the Vikings would put it. The Germans would agree. From our latest survey, the Indians are not far behind either. Since 2007, beer has been celebrated across the world through International Beer Day on the first Friday of every August. It was first established in 2007 by Jesse Avshalomov, Evan Hamilton, Aaron Araki, and Richard Hernandez. The day is dedicated to appreciating and enjoying beer as one of the oldest and most widely consumed alcoholic beverages in the world.

The objectives of International Beer Day are to gather people from all walks of life to enjoy the choicest craft beers, unite cultures, celebrate brewers and explore the diverse beer varieties. To ring in the occasion, we spoke to the makers of classic beers at Budweiser, Corona, Hoegaarden – Ab InBev, who share with us three easy recipes to whip up beer cocktails in no time.
Mango Breeze
A decadent spin on the original Belgian Witbier topped with the goodness of mangoes
Ingredients:
Hoegaarden Witbier - 330 ml
Hoegaarden Belgian Original Gin - 45 ml
Earl Grey Tea concentrate- 30 ml
Mango Puree - 15 ml
Sugar Syrup - 10 ml
Lime Juice - 20 ml
Method:
Add sugar syrup and lemon juice to a mix of Earl Grey Tea concentrate and Mango Puree, shaken with Hoegaarden Belgian Original Gin and top it off with Hoegaarden Witbier
Tropical Nectar
A symphony of indulgent flavors with Hoegaarden's peach-flavored beer and citrusy gin
Ingredients:
Hoegaarden Nectarine - 330 ml
Hoegaarden Mediterranean Summer Gin - 45 ml
Grapefruit Juice - 30 ml
Lime Juice - 20 ml
Method:
Shake Hoegaarden Mediterranean Summer Gin with a mix of grapefruit juice and freshly squeezed lime juice, top it off with Hoegaarden Nectarine
Smoky Orchard
Every sip is a dreamy escape with the sweet swirl of Hoegaarden's berry-forward beer and gin
Ingredients:
Hoegaarden Rosée - 330 ml
Hoegaarden Parisian Romance Gin - 45 ml
Smoked pineapple puree - 20 ml
Lime juice - 20 ml
Basil garnish
Method:
Dice, smoke, and blend pineapple. Add fresh lime juice and Hoegaarden Parisian Romance Gin, top it off with Hoegaarden Rosee and finish with fresh basil.
