Make your January exciting with spirits riding high on Ginuary. Ginuary, an annual global month-long celebration of gin is all about indulging in unique gin-based cocktails throughout the month. This perfect drink all year round becomes even more special in January also because it is winter time.

Here’s a list of some of the restaurants in Mumbai celebrating Ginuary serving gin-based cocktails

The Kyoto Tea Party at Neuma
Prepare to celebrate in Kyoto style at Neuma, with their finest gin-based cocktail, Kyoto Tea. This drink tastes like a garden party on a cool summer evening, thanks to the sweet-sour-umami oleo saccharum, freshly squeezed lime juice, and lemongrass kombucha.

Martini at Millo
Only a few restaurants in town can do the original, iconic drink well and Millo brings it close to perfection. Remember to order it shaken, not stirred. With just enough vermouth to glaze the sides of the glass and an ice-cold shake of the driest Gin, this cocktail will have your taste buds craving for more.

 Merlion Ginsling at Amazonia
With fresh pineapple juice, bitters, and just a hint of lime, this Singaporean classic feels and tastes like a beach day. This refreshing afternoon cocktail is served chilled in a tall glass and topped with a strip of pineapple and flowers to imitate Singapore's famed Merlion. Like everything else in Singapore, it is sweet and straightforward.

Green Jade Garden at Yazu
Crafted to taste exactly like a zen garden would taste, with a balance of garden-infused gin, sake, vermouth, lime juice, honey, fresh turmeric and tonic water, this GandT twist will take you to a monastery with its sweet, refreshing taste that both cleanses your palate and helps you to relax.

Gitterati at Cray Craft
Order a round of Glitterati for the table. This drink, made with real Jamun juice, gin, elderflower, and tonic water, will make you wonder why you ever drank anything other than gin. This classic is delicate and exquisite, yet still untamed and untamable.

Deconstructed Picante at one8 Commune
Complete with an assortment of delicious in-house tidbits, this gin drink puts a spin on the original picante with a spicy and sweet flavour that compliments the delicious snacks that come on a platter with it. Head to one8 to try this fabulous new cocktail that will leave your world spinning.

Purple Rain at Ditas
Based on the Prince song of the same name, this drink will make you fall in love. This majestic violet nectar, which is made with Tanqueray, basil, lime, blue pea tea, and tonic water, is delicate yet flavorful, with the sweet blue pea tea and medicinal tonic taking centre stage, and the lime giving the ideal balance of sour. This drink tastes exactly how it looks – amazing.

Atlantic Litchi Sour at Epitome
Epitome is well-known for its vegetarian and multi-cuisine menu, but its beverages stand out even more than the delicious food. This drink is particularly popular among mixologists, who prepare it with litchi puree, fresh pomegranate juice, lime juice, sugar, and, of course, gin.

Shikoku Cooler at Pa Pa Ya
Pa Pa Ya's new menu offers delicious sushi, desserts, and more, but you don't need to hear about it. Pa Pa Ya is well-known for its expertly produced Pan Asian cuisine, but it should also be renowned for this cocktail, which contains gin, orange juice, kaffir leaves, peach puree, and orange blossom water. This drink will both soothe and elevate your spirits. The zesty taste of oranges, the freshness of orange flowers, the harshness of kaffir lime, and the dry sweetness of Gin all combine to make this cocktail an excellent accompaniment to a hearty lunch at Pa Pa Ya.

Spanish Gin and Tonic at Blue Bop Cafe
Bluebop has the classics covered with this cocktail. With umami flavours from rosemary, orange bitters, tonic water, and the subtle spice of fresh black pepper mixed with kaffir lime and Gin, this Gin and Tonic will transport you to a Spanish field, with the warm sun on your face and Spanish music in your ears.

Pornstar Martini at The Nines
A traditional cocktail turned on its head - with passionfruit, French vanilla, and the distinct juniper berry flavour of gin, this martini is a combination of flavours you never thought could work well together, but the gin ties everything perfectly together to create a distinct tasting cocktail. The Nines takes this bar classic and elevates it to another level with real French vanilla.

Beachside Bliss at The Coconut Boy
This cocktail captures the essence of Goa in a singular sip at the Coconut Boy. Here, gin is served in the best possible way. This will chase away all the New Year’s and winter blues.

Gin and Tonic specials at Cosy Box
At Cosy box, you can dance the night away. They have a variety of cocktails dedicated to gin, exclusively. Berry Potter (with blueberries and kaffir lime), Ti Tonic (with sage, lemon peel and tonic water), and Gulp Iver’s Travels ( with gin, tequila, coffee, and lavender) are only some of the examples.
