If there is any one Indian cuisine that finds equal acceptance from foodies and chefs all across the country, Punjabi cuisine would emerge as a clear winner.

To transport guests to the vibrant culinary landscape of Punjab and fill in their senses with the aromas and flavours of authentic ‘Desi food’, Novotel Mumbai International Airport is all set to host the latest episode of the Community Kitchen Project, ‘Pind Di Rasoi,’ in association with ChefPin from  January 12 to January 14, 2024, at their modern all-day dining outlet, Food Exchange Mumbai.

The Pind Di Rasoi festival promises a feast for the senses with an extensive menu featuring delights such as Dahi Kebab, Amritsari Fish Fry, Saag and Makki Di Roti, Mutton Boti Masala, and Gajrela. Live cooking stations will add an interactive dimension to the experience, allowing guests to witness the art of Punjabi cooking firsthand.

Under the masterful guidance of Chef Rummy Nagpal, this Punjabi Food Festival offers an authentic dive into the heart of North Indian cuisine. Chef Rummy Nagpal, with a culinary journey deeply rooted in the flavoursome streets of Amritsar, brings to the table an array of authentic Punjabi dishes.

Growing up, Chef Nagpal honed her skills under the watchful eyes of her grandmother and through her adventures in the local markets of Amritsar. Her journey from making chapatis in the fifth grade to mastering the art of Punjabi cooking is a testament to her passion and commitment to the culinary arts.

The decor at this food festival will mirror the vibrant ethos of Punjabi culture, enhancing the immersive experience. Alongside the sumptuous spread, guests can enjoy traditional beverages like Patiala Lassi, Gulab Ka Sharbat, and Thandai.

This festival is a celebration of Punjabi cuisine and a journey through Chef Nagpal's culinary evolution. From her early experiments in the kitchen to running a restaurant in Goa, Chef Nagpal's story is one of her unwavering love for authentic Punjabi flavours.
