Pic Courtesy/Anja Matthes To offer a taste of his music that entails everything from Electro Pop to Electronic and beyond, the New York-based artiste is back in Mumbai for a gig with Karsh Kale Collectiv, a collection of some of India&rsquo;s finest and most innovative musicians, composers and vocalists directed and curated by Kale. &ldquo;It should be a fun gig and we&rsquo;ll be presenting some new compositions as well,&rdquo; says Kale. New territory After Cinema, considered his most ambitious album to date, Kale is currently working on another album where he reveals he explored himself more in terms of a singer and has broken free from his previous styles.u00a0&ldquo;I&rsquo;m singing more in this album that has 11 tracks. Also the musicians play a more elaborate role unlike my other works where I played 90 per cent of the instruments. Here, I have focused more on writing the compositions and singing,&rdquo; he shares. The yet-to-be-titled album is slated for an August release. Bollywood blues On the Bollywood front, the musician received a tepid response, explaining that he came to India 13 times last year, but didn&rsquo;t get approached by anyone from the film industry. However, Kale, who has worked on the soundtrack of films like Karthik Calling Karthik, Dum Maaro Dum and Soundtrack earlier, is unperturbed by this situation.u00a0&ldquo;I&rsquo;m not averse to doing Bollywood projects, but if I don&rsquo;t get any, it doesn&rsquo;t bother me so much. Bollywood is not the end game anymore and a lot more is happening otherwise. I would rather work on my own stuff than sit in a studio for the whole day to make stuff for someone else,&rdquo; explains Kale, adding that Bollywood is not on his radar.
