Artist Prashant Hirlekar is conducting workshops for art lovers keeping in mind the monsoons and upcoming events
If you have an interest in art, this is an opportunity you would not want to miss. Artist Prashant Hirlekar is conducting a series of workshops for those interested in art. The workshops, which will be held on weekends at Ishanya, will teach participants to create theme-based works, especially for the monsoon. The workshops will be held from July 23 to August 15. Hirlekar's works are on display at an exhibition at the Tilting Art Gallery and Neena Sahani, the curator of the gallery, feels that this creative artist will be able to teach a lot to the participants of the workshop.

Around 20 works on canvas, sculptures, masks, video installations and umbrellas are on display at the exhibition titled Water, What a Show.u00a0 "Hirlekar has an interest in teaching so we are looking forward to the workshops," says Sahani. The workshops will be held on Saturdays and Sundays and will give people the opportunity to learn umbrella painting, caps painting, T-shirts painting and so on. They will also learn to paint on upcoming themes like Friendship Day and Independence Day. "For Friendship day, participants will be taught to make designs on bands and T-shirts. We also have some interesting plans for Independence Day," says Sahani.
