FYI settled for a quickie with Rajvi Mohan, who likes her designs strictly on men

The buoyant Rajvi Mohan has been into boy business ever since she launched her label in 2005. A graduate from The London College of Fashion, England (Menswear specialty) and Parsons School of Design, New York, the men-savvy Mohan has only become bigger with every fashion week. She designs only for the opposite sex, and that gives her a certain gender-biased joy. Feminists can fume.

But isn't menswear restrictive?
I believe in breaking boundaries. The more restrictions I have, the more I am compelled to do something better. It gives me a high. I love the challenges involved, and I think of how I can manipulate the limited things that I have to experiment with.

For quite sometime, you weren't on the 'scene'.
I wanted to be invisible for sometime. But then, everyone started telling me to showcase at a fashion week. And I finally appeared at the Delhi Fashion Week last year. Then, I showcased at the Van Huesen India Men's week this September. And there's more coming.
