This accessory and stationery store has been around "since the British era" according to proprietor Akbar Kachwalla, but it was only recently that I discovered its many treasures.
Aside from paints, brushes, crayons and that craft-world essential: the glue gun, they also stock buttons, sequins, tassels, stickers, party supplies and decorations.
But that's far from all. You will also find fake moustaches, feather boas, colouring books and several other things that defy categorisation.
They've been collecting products since Kachwalla's father started out selling only "five to six sweets in glass bottles"
It's best to set foot here with a list in hand, because there's lots of stuff crammed in and not much room for browsing. But you will still find a stray jewel here and there.

I was happy to note that the staff is polite and helpful, because it's always nice to find kindness in strangers. I'm sure though, given the many 'special somethings' you will find here, you won't remain a stranger for long.
