If you are looking for gifts or goodies for the festive season, head to the Ethnic Weaves and Crafts Bazaar for your fill

The Delhi-based NGO Hast Karigar Society is back in the city for the third consecutive year. This year, the theme of their exhibition is Ethnic Weaves and Crafts and accordingly the bazaar will include traditional masterpieces and ethnic items crafted and designed by some of the most skilled craftsmen from over 17 states of the country.

While we have seen Pattachitra from West Bengal and Orissa, Gond tribal painting, and Madhubani painting from Bihar at various other exhibitions, it's not often that we see exquisite weaves of Pachampally or Nakshi Kantha.

In fact, it's the weaves on offer at this exhibition that are more interesting. We suggest you ditch your Georgettes and Crepes for a Maheshwari or Ikat saree this Diwali.
