A young entrepreneur is running a rare initiative wherein becoming Rocket Singh doesn't have to do with your oral and aural senses
There's tension between India and China alright, but, as clichu00e9d as it sounds, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Often, the positive kind. Even in ancient Tao mythology, a tiger-dragon synergy worked to bring out the sacred best in civilisations. This time, it's Indian tigers and Chinese dragons living out the principle, as they join hand towards building better business, even if sans sounds and speeches.

Now, the once helpless Sunil has become a training professional himself, and encourages more people with similar disabilities to take advantage of entrepreneurial ventures. Sunil has a team of specially abled people that consists of Chinese marketers who can't hear or speak, and none of them understand English. He trained his team through sign language, and communicated by writing and lip reading. "Sunil understood our business very well, and has all the good qualities of a leader,'' asserts Mr Gao, a Chinese representative of Sunil's team. "I believe that the differently abled people have certain trust between themselves, and want to build relationships that would help them in supporting each other," reasons Sunil.
How he did it
Like any other pioneer, Sunil came across many a challenge. But, he stood through. He had his own company focusing on exports of various types of home appliances and electronics, but now, he pays more attention to his current initiative.
The government of Hong Kong supports him with a contribution of US $ 200 a month, which does not cover all of the project's basic costs, but help, nevertheless.
Also, since Sunil and his peers' work involves direct selling, it is sometimes tough to land a deal. But it's their confidence and self-fed faith that keeps their spirit and success alive.
