Naval officer Abhilash Tomy's flag-hoisting at Cape of Horn is being screened along with national anthem at theatres and in over 60 TV channels
Cinema halls and TV channels throughout the country are playing a new national anthem Audiovisual featuring a naval officer hoisting the Indian tricolour at Cape of Horn, also known as the Mount Everestu00a0of sailing.

Lt Cdr Abhilash Tomy hoisted the Indian flag at Cape of Horn, the southernmost tip of South America as part of his solo, non-stop, unassisted circumnavigation of the world’s oceans in a sailboat. The video will be screened till August 15.
The Audiovisual, directed by Santosh Menon, also features a special version of the national anthem with music rendered by Biby Sam of Audiosynkrasy, and will be screened at over 60 national and regional television channels along with theatres under the network of UFO Moviez.
The AV is aimed to appeal to Indians aged 18 to 35 years, which will be broadcasting the incredible feat. “Hoisting the national flag on a tumultuous sea at Cape Horn on Republic Day was an extremely proud moment for me as an Indian and a naval officer,” says Lt Cdr Tomy.u00a0
