Wild flowers may not be tended by a gardener but are known for their tenacity and ability to grow in all kinds of surroundings, be it a meadow or a crack in the wall.
To raise awareness about conserving such plants, the Rotary Club of Thane is hosting Here On Project Environment (HOPE), an exhibition of 425 photographs by wildlife photographers covering categories of wild plants such as Endangered, Insectivorous, Ephemeral, Orchids, Medicinal, Endemic, Exotic, Parasitic, Trees, Himalayan and Wild Flowers.u00a0

Book lovers can also buy copies of the book Matheran — A Practical Guide, which will be available at the exhibition venue. The book includes rare facts and details about the flora and fauna of Matheran, which is considered as one of India’s tiniest hill stations.
