Devotional event Krishna Samarpan will pay tribute to the mischievous flute-playing, blue-hued god

Celebrating the magic of Krishna

Nandanandan Pratishthan and Kannada Sangh have come up with a devotional event which will show the love and devotion towards Lord Krishna with an exclusive dance programme.


The show will feature performances by artists such as Sharwari Jamenis and Group (Kathak), Swati Daithankar and Group (Bharatnatyam), Saswat Joshi and Group (Odissi). The vocals will be given by veterans such as Arti Anklikar-Tikekar, Pandit Sanjeev Abhyankar, Shri Vijay Prakash and Sadhna Sargam.

The performances at the event will depict compositions on Lord Krishna written by famous Indian saints.u00a0The music composer of the event, Uday ‘Ramdas’ Deshpande says, “The programme consists of 12 compositions and three different dance forms of the country, like Kathak, Odissi and Bharatnatyam, which will be staged together for the very first time.

Indian saints such as Meerabai, Surdas and Vallabhacharya have inscribed a lot of great things in the praise of the Lord. The artists will be depicting these writings through their performances.” u00a0He continues, “This is the first time we are performing Krishna Samarpan and that too in Pune. I am expecting city audiences to love it. After the initial performance, we are going throughout the country to places such as Chennai, Jaipur, Delhi, Ahmedabad and in Europe.”u00a0The uniqueness of the programme is that it will be performed depicting Lord Krishna having an interactive conversation with the audience.u00a0
