This is your first visit to India. How have you prepared for the shows here?
People are familiar with me. I listen to Indian comedians on YouTube. They do voices like I do. Indians are big on laughter. I'll tell them about my life and men and women. I follow Indian culture and Hinduism has a big influence on me.
What intrigues you the most about stand-up comedies?
The live aspect of it. Not knowing what the audience will laugh at is interesting and challenging. It takes a long time to get feedback on a film but in a stand-up comedy you know instantly what's funny and what's not.
Where do you get your sense of humour from?
When I get up in the morning, the sillier part of my brain is more active. I am funnier in the mornings than inu00a0 the evenings.
You were not doing stand-ups for a long time and then you started again two years ago. Is it challenging to returnu00a0 after a long break?
It's been a while and I am pretty confident now. I talk about Obama, America and the world economy in my shows.
Your new TV show iRob is airing from January 2012. What can people expect from the show?
It's a story of my life, someone who doesn't want to change and grow up. Actually it's a bit of an exaggeration on me.
You got married this year. Has that brought any change on your comedies?
My comedies are a little better now. Jokes are a little better. There's a lot of compromise you need to do in the morning, afternoon and night but the other side of suffering is beautiful.
What can the Bangalore audience expect from you?
I have got some good jokes on Hollywood, men and women and my wife. It's a bit risky. I am not 100 per cent sure if they will like the jokes.
You run the Rob Schneider Music Foundation. What are your preferences in music?
I like listening to music. I like jazz, classical andu00a0 Hindi songs. Anything that's positive and interesting fascinates me. I don't like rap, maybe because I don'tu00a0 understand it.
Which is your favourite Bollywood song?
Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai and I sing it before every show. I watch Hindi songs on Youtube and my favourite comedian is Shah Rukh Khan.
