Enfield launches Thunderbird 500

Cruiser lovers can rejoice as Royal Enfield will be launching Thunderbird 500 in India today.

It will boast of twinspark, single cylinder and an air cooled engine with a displacement of 499 cc. The maximum power that this monster will give you is 27.2 bhp@ 5250 rpm.

The kerb weight is 195 kgs and it has a fuel capacity of 20 litres. A new feature on the bike will be the Hazard Light option, a first for any Indian motorcycle. The engine start will have both electric and kick option.

The bike will feature a 280 mm front disc break and a 240 mm rear disc brake.u00a0
