How is Bangalore as a city in terms of market potential?
Many of us do not use the full potential of our maximum health and vitality. The way we present ourselves to the outside world reflects this. I do believe how you look has a lot to do with how you feel and who you are. And who you feel you are has to do with how you present yourself and vice versa. So any city with people who want to live their lives 100 per cent at all levels is the perfect one vis-u00e0-vis the grooming market.

Amongst Indian politicians, who do you think needs to take grooming lessons?
Whoever wants to make a change in the way they perceive themselves, their lives and the way they want to present themselves would be a good candidate.

Is grooming about wearing about good clothes and good manners or something more?
For me, it's much more.

How important then are internal grooming and external appearances?
They go hand in hand. The most important is the inner grooming. No matter how great your outward success is, if you don't know the answer to these questions, you might feel that there is something missing in your life. Do you know what your mission in life is? Are you aware of the daily guidance from your soul?

A lot has been said and done about grooming. What's your personal take on it?
I believe in letting myself shine, feeling good and looking good, whether at home or outside. I teach this and I live it. Inner and outer beauty is my forte. What I bring to my courses is my years of experience as a model as well as teaching meditation, pranayama, yoga and self-growth.

When we were in school, we have all studied moral science and ethics. Our parents always told us what was right and what was wrong. But seldom do we choose the right path. When do you think is the right age to start soul coaching?

My parents always encouraged us to read and think and make our own choices. They taught me to listen to myself at a very early age. We went to the beach every weekend and spent a lot of time with nature. All children should be taught and encouraged to think for themselves and spend time with family, friends and nature. The sooner we live in alignment with our inner selves, the more authentic our lives will be.

At what age did you start?
Very early. I believe that children should be taught very early to look inwards and understand themselves. The understanding of who you are can never be told by another. It is only when you reach into the wellspring of your being that the truth of the soul springs forth.

A healthy mind in a healthy body your comment.
A positive mind anticipates happiness, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. When the brain gets positive messages from the body, a person feels good. If I carry myself in a way that says, "I am confident, strong, and at peace with myself and the world," my body sends messages to my mind to reconfigure internal processes until they are consistent with my physiology. Little messengers go through the body saying, "I'm happy I'm confident, all is well with my world". The Romans had a proverb, mens sana in corpore sano, meaning 'a healthy mind in a healthy body'. They were definitely on to a good thing. Two things that simultaneously go together are good health and a sound mind. A healthy mind diminishes the stress and tension hormones and conserves our mental state.
