Good news for the folks looking to buy a Ford Figo or an Aspire. Ford India has reduced the prices of its happening hatch and the feature loaded sedan by up to Rs 91,000. With the goodies and safety equipment offered in these cars, they were always a value for money deal. Good news for the folks looking to buy a Ford Figo or an Aspire. Ford India has reduced the prices of its happening hatch and the feature loaded sedan by up to Rs 91,000. With the goodies and safety equipment offered in these cars, they were always a value for money deal. However, this aggressive price cut will act as an icing on the cake and makes the deal even stronger.
The reduced cost is mostly on the top end variants of both the cars. The Ford Aspire Titanium gets the maximum benefit of approx. Rs 91,000 on both 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel versions. Similarly, the Ford Figo gets a price cut of almost Rs 50,000 on its Titanium and Titanium + diesel versions, while petrol ones get approximately Rs 30,000 advantage.
Anurag Mehrotra, executive director, marketing, sales and service, Ford India, said, "Offering technologically advanced and safe products are critical to our vision and commitment to customers. With the realignment of prices, Figo and Aspire are even more compelling for customers. The realignment also enhances the accessibility of these outstanding products, which offer segment-first safety features and class-leading technologies."
"With the realigned prices, we have enabled customers to have the perfect combination of style, comfort, space, smart in-car technology, outstanding fuel economy and unparalleled ownership experience no matter what Ford they choose," he added.
The slash in prices, at a time when every other carmaker is looking to hike prices, is an interesting move to make. Moreover, the pattern of cost reduction, especially in the Figo, with high concession on diesel variants, seems to reiterate the growing buyer inclination towards the petrol cars.
