Did you know that the Earth has almost lost 50% of all kinds of species — both plants and animals. Popularising environmental issues in a fun way is Roar — Tiger of the Sunderbans a mobile app game that has been designed by Shotformats.

The game is premised on a young photojournalist who rescues a white tiger cub in the jungles of the Sunderbans.

As he brings the cub to his place, panic among the villagers sets in, and the forest warden takes the cub away. One has to target poachers and rescue the cub again.

The game has several cliffhangers as it is told in a story format. The idea is to make the poachers run, making it easier for the gamer to utilise the mobile’s motion sensor technology.

Simple and fun, it’s a great way to initiate someone into environmental concerns.
