Wearing his green mask and playing electro tracks with a telephone, DJ Lektroluv promises an unforgettable live performance
Party animals, it's time to hit the dance floor this weekend as the Belgian DJ Dr Lektroluv is here to paint the town green. On a tour to India, he assures that his green mask and telephone may shock you the first time you see him, but his music will grow on you. Dr Lektroluv admits that his mask has its initial effect on the audience but soon the energy, emotions and awareness of his electro tracksu00a0 take centre stage. According to him, his style is Electronic Dance music with a party feel.

Sharing why he is known as Dr Lektroluv, he says, "The first compilation I did was called Lektroluv. I could have been a professor too, but thought that a doctor was nicer." He adds that he adapted the green mask as a part of his look from Lektroluv, which also had a green head as cover. As for swapping the telephone with a headphone, he says,u00a0 "The telephone is a solution in order not to wear headphones, which is a bit difficult for my mask."
Lektroluv, playing for the first time in the garden city, claims that no particular artiste has ever inspired him though he enjoys listening to various genres of music like jazz, disco, funk, krautrock, electronica and dub among others.u00a0 He says, "Maybe my greatest inspiration was the 12 inch (longer versions, extended mixes, alternative versions of well known tracks)."
The DJ reveals that his performance will be a surprise for both the audience and himself. However, he admits that the future of electronic music is hard to predict but hopes that it will be smoother. Advising aspring DJs he says, "Do not focus only on the technical side. Always remember that people want to have a good party!"
