A Google Doodle drawn by 11-year-old Pune girl, Anvita Prashant Telang, who won the national level Doodle 4 Google contest was featured on the online search engine giant's official India homepage. Anvita's Google Doodle has been titled 'Live in the present'.

Anvita, who is a student of Vibgyor High School in Balewadi, got her inspiration for the Google Doodle by showcasing the good things in nature and life, since she feels that the world is going too fast.

An official statement from Google said, "Her creativity and vision towards developing 'a better world and healthy lifestyle' is well reflected through her colourful doodle where she has showcased how everyone should 'enjoy every moment' and appreciate the simple things around us and live stress-free."

About Children's Day
Although observed international on several dates, Children's Day in India is celebrated annually on November 14, to mark the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India. Nehru fondly referred to as Chacha Nehru or Chachaji, emphasized the importance of giving love and affection to children, whom he saw as the bright future of India.
