AK Various Production's The Interview bagged four awards -- Best Play, Best Stage Design, Best Actor in a Leading Role and Best Supporting Actor (Male) -- at Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META) earlier this year.



The play explores what happens to a bright, young man, who is seen holding his resume close, waiting nervously at the reception of one of the country's largest corporations. When he is called in for the interview, nothing he learnt in college, university or his last few jobs has prepared him for what comes next. But he's keen to make it through. After all, it is a job to die for.
