With the rise in the number and uses of drones, now might be a good time to find out what the buzz is all about. Later this week, Drona Aviation will be organizing a a beginner’s drone making workshop.

It starts off with a theoretical introduction on the physics, mechanics and aerospace principals of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles that will be followed by delving into the detailed hardware. Participants will get hands-on experience with activities such as frame creation, motor mounting, prop balancing, connecting your Android phone to the quadrotor and finally, flying practice with the completed micro-drone.

The cost of the workshop includes all the required building material; however, those who wish to keep their finished drone for themselves, can do so by paying an additional cost of Rs 4,500.
The workshop is open to nine-year-olds and above, and will be taught be by IIT passouts and co-founders of the SINE IIT Bombay company, Prasanna Shevare, Dinesh Sain and Apurva Godbole.
