The Symphony Orchestra of India (SOI) is ready to embark on its 13th season and an all-Beethoven concert by German violinist Lena Neudauer and German conductor, violinist and academic teacher Christoph Poppen will open the awaited event.
Neudauer met Poppen when she was a 20-year-old, and later he became her teacher. The brilliant collaboration between these two stellar figures will now be renewed once again in Mumbai.

Neudauer has studied Beethoven’s violin in concerto since he was 18 years old, and has performed it many times all over the world. Poppen started his musical career as a violinist and is now the Artistic Director of the Munich Chamber Orchestra.
Apart from these, the SOI concert season will also see participation from baritone Anooshah Golesorkhi, SOI resident conductor Zane Dalal and many other Indian musicians. So, if you wish to experience the high notes of Western musical brilliance, you know where to head to.
