A little bit of passion and a touch of creativity, is perhaps all that's needed to switch from a point-and-shoot photographer to a person who plays with light conditions to fashion a masterpiece of photography. If you've been itching to make that change, then head to Mocha Mojo for a special workshop by Lomography India, that'll help you understand the very core basics of analog photography.
The workshop will be conducted by Partha Rao, director of Lomography India, and Akshay Bhoan, a professional photographer and online PR manager for Lomography India. "We believe that digital photography has changed the camera from being a tool to an automated machine. So, to get back to being more connected to the pictures one takes and to have a more refreshing experience one must turn towards a purely analog lifestyle," says Bhoan.
At the workshop, participants will get to learn about the basics of photography and how to choose a camera.
In the past six months since Lomography India set up base here, they have conducted workshops and Lomo Walks, where they give everybody cameras and introduce participants to the concept of film photography.
On: September 3, 12 pm to 3 pm at Mocha Mojo, Hill Road, Bandra (W). Workshop fee: Rs 250 cover
