A man will walk on stage, stark naked, except for a tiny undergarment. The music will kick in, starting slow and then building up. The man will move his body, tanned and bathed in sweat. He will flex his body, holding different poses for people to have a better look, while the crowd will cheer ecstatically. More muscled men will join him.u00a0u00a0 
Lest you get excited, the crowd won't be composed of overeager women and the men on stage won't be strippers. These men, entertaining the crowds, will be competing in the finale of the 65th World Amateur Bodybuilding Championship, which was formerly known as Mr Universe.
In 2003, Brabourne Stadium was the venue for the competition that hosted 300 body builders from 75 countries. Now, the competition is back in India and this time, it's beefier. "There are 400 bodybuilders from 90 countries who will be participating in the contest. Over 15,000 people are expected to turn up," said Sanjay More, General Secretary, Indian Body Building and Fitness Federation (IBBF). The event will also be telecast live on Ten Sports.
The competition has nine categories according to the weight of the contestants. These consist of fly weight (up to 60kg), bantam weight (up to 65 kg), light weight (up to 70 kg), welter weight (up to 75 kg), light-middle weight (up to 80 kg), middle weight (up to 85 kg), light-heavy weight (up to 90 kg), heavy weight (up to 100 kg) and super-heavy weight (over 100 kg).
Adding to the event will be the presence of many dignitaries. "President Pratibha Patil, Balasaheb Thackeray and Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan are expected to attend the event," said More. There is much hope that an Indian can lift one of the titles this year. Earlier this year, an Indian named Manoj Majumdar, won the Mr Asia 2011 (55kg) tile at the Asian Body Building Championship in July.u00a0 The first Indian to win the Mr Universe title was Monotosh Roy in 1951. After him, another two successes have followed. The event will last for four hours and ticket rates start at Rs 700, going up to Rs 10,000.u00a0
