If you want to head for a few drinks this Thursday and Friday, and want to watch some flair bartending, you should visit the Grand Hyatt. Because, on Thursday, 100 bartenders will battle it out to win the Mumbai round of SKYY Vodka Global Flair Challenge.
The competition is in its fifth edition around the world, but is coming to India for the first time. Competitions will also be held in Delhi (August 23) and Bangalore (August 24). Two winners will be chosen from Mumbai and they will compete with the winners from the other cities in Mumbai on Friday onu00a0 the finale.
The bartenders will be judged on their ability to create cocktails, perform spectacular five-minute bartending routines and demonstrate their skill and knowledge in relation to the art of flair. Participants will also develop original cocktails and who knows, you might get to taste them.
CEO Aspri Spirits Sumedh Singh Mandla says, "The competition will hopefully provide an exhilarating experience for bartenders and bar-goers alike."
