The Green People Festival is theu00a0flagship event of The Green People of India, a collective of eco and sustainable enterprises across India. The festival is being held with the aim of sharing their cause, concept and stories with fellow Indians.

They aim to use collective strength to promote social entrepreneurs and ecologically sustainable initiatives and give them a platform to present themselves. It will feature a variety of products ranging from organic fabrics, organic clothing, online eco shopping, kids’ clothes, toys, organic bath and beauty products, home décor, upcycled jewellery, stationery, etc.
You can check out their Ayurveda workshops, drop by the organic café by Moshe’s, a jam session, performances, and more. Some of the participating enterprises include Earthcraft from Uttarakhand, Do U Speak Green, Omved, Upasana from Auroville, Green n Good from Jaipur, and Soul Tree from New Delhi. Visit the creative console tables made from waste wood, colourful sustainable Sheesham wood furniture, organic treats, and feast on organic Red Rice Dosa and Chutney. While the summer edition of the festival was held in June this year, the plan is to to organise two editions every year.
