A one-of-a-kind kids pop-up shop at BlueFrog aims to instill good moral values and sustainable use of resources among children and their parents
“We love to spoil our children, so why not do it with a little bit of conscience,” believes Srila Chatterjee, curator of a unique Kids Pop-Up Shop at Blue Frog that will offer an unusual collection of kids’ paraphernalia, today. The shop brings environment friendly paper products, clothes, home decor items and learning aids that not only aims to make kids aware of their heritage but also instill good moral values.

All items have been curated by Chatterjee, who went through the catalogue of several companies to zero in on nine social enterprises who work with artisans, keeping sustainability at the core of it all. Each product — from toys to clothes, comes with a message on sustainable use of resources.
Some of the items worth checking out include a collection of traditional Indian games, which has been revived by Green Games, and then there is a special books section featuring illustrated stories from all over India. A separate section introduces kids to the traditional process of papermaking and offers items made from recycle paper, thus instilling the importance of recycling. “This isn’t your usual collection of kids paraphernalia. Everything here is special and conveys the importance of sustainable use of resources,” feels Chatterjee.
