If you are headed to The Comedy Store for your weekly dose of laughs, be nice and head to a stationery store before that to pick up a blank notebook. Along with the Improv Night show, the Store is also hosting an initiative called One Book Please.
Started by entrepreneur Shreya Naik, One Book Please is a notebook donation drive for the children of St Catherine's Orphanage, which is located at Mount Mary, Bandra. Through the project, Naik makes an appeal to people to donate one blank notebook for the children when they come for the Improv Night show tonight. In your own small way, you could help educate children at the orphanage.
The project is an initiative by We Positive, an NGO that Naik founded four years back. It is a registered organisation under the Charitable Act of India.
Once you are done with your good deed of the day, sit back with a pint of beer and watch Daylynn D'Souza, Kaneez, Mukul Chadda, Natascha Chadha, Naveen Kaushik, Shaun Williams and Anand Chulani perform hilarious games, scenes, and monologues that are based on audience suggestions.
