Crazy Turtle is a little away from civilisation but you can't miss the neon turtle carrying a beer mug on his back.

At the two-level pub you can choose to keep a close eye on your drink at the bar, grab a table and watch the match on a big screen or head upstairs for a cosy dinner with friends. Bare walls and low lighting surroundsed us as we sipped on a minty Mojito (Rs 200) and listened to pop music.
The little mascot follows your eyes on each page of the menu that boasts of a wide variety of cocktails. Try the Black Russian (Vodka and Kahl a), Bloody Mary (Vodka, tomato juice, spices) or Daiquiri (rum, lime juice and sugar syrup) priced around Rs 200. We had a Pinacolada (Rs 210), the coconut cream was thick, the pineapple sweet and the rum laid a subtle punch; just the way we like it. You can also enjoy your drinks straight up and beer by the bottle. They don't serve pints and pitchers.
Our appetiser order included a platter of Corn Cheese Balls, Barbeque Chicken Wings and Chicken Bruschetta priced around Rs 160. The sweet, tangy barbeque sauce-doused Chicken Wings were a treat and the Corn Balls were not shy about being cheesy, though we wish the servings were more generous. The Bruschetta deserves extra credit because it remained the topic of conversation even after it was polished off. The crisp toasted garlic bread with a thick layer of cheese and chicken seasoned lightly with spices came in a healthy serving.
For dinner, the attendant kindly informed us that we did not need to hurry to place the order. The Crazy Turtle is a late riser ufffd the restaurant opens at 2 pm and closes its doors at 1.30 am. We took our time deciding between the pasta (Rs 150), burgers (Rs 155) and pizza (Rs 160). They also serve sandwiches. Penne Pasta in Primavera Sauce was stingy on the veggies but the Alfredo Pasta was a delight with a thick creamy base. The Sea Food Pizza was an interesting mix of flavours with prawn toppings.u00a0
The one-week old Crazy Turtle is a multi-talented fellow. Thursday is Karaoke Night, weekends play host to local indie bands and expect a crowd whenever a game is on. While the Italian-American menu is agreeable and the ambience is appealing, the pub is a promising stage for young talent and an audience that just wants to chill with a beer and some friends.
