Online consumer research company Lab42 has revealed the virtual popularity of man's best friend with an infographic.
The infographic is based on the results of a survey conducted among 407 American adults across various social networks. While the survey sample may not be representative of social network users worldwide, it does show some interesting behavior among dog owners -- for example, that 14 percent of owners set up a Facebook account for their dog, 6 percent of dogs have a Twitter account and the same percentage have a Flickr account.
