New Delhi: Chinsese handset maker Vivo today launched its new smartphone X5Pro at Rs 27,980 in India which will go on sale on August 15.

X5Pro sports a 5.2-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display and is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The smartphone packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front facing shooter. X5Pro comes with 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
The handset gets its juice from a 2,450mAh battery and on connectivity front it supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
vivo will start assembling its devices in India by October this year at its Greater Noida facility. The company, which introduced its first handset in the India in December last year is also aiming to sell about two million smartphones in the country, this year.
Shenzhen-headquartered vivo has presence in countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia and Indonesia. China and India are the two biggest markets for the company.
Vivo is also launching a new series of devices - V - priced between Rs 15,000-20,000, focussed on music. The first device will be made available later this month.
